Privacy

This policy describes what IT Service Exam Prep (operated by DataPig LLC) actually collects and why.

Account (Clerk). Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Clerk stores your account email and authentication information; we never see your password. We use your account identifier to look up purchased access in our private purchase ledger so you can sign in on another device.

Payments (Stripe). Purchases are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase, including the course, tier, amount, payment identifiers and settlement status. Purchase records are stored privately using Vercel Blob and associated with your account to manage access and refunds.

Study progress. Your study progress — modules studied, quiz scores, review queue — is stored locally in your browser (localStorage), separated by course and account. It is not synced to another device. Clearing browser data or using another browser profile removes that browser’s progress, even though purchased access remains with your account.

Usage and performance. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page visits and performance. Our integration skips sign-in and sign-up pages and strips query strings and fragments from reported page URLs. YouTube campaign visits can also send a small set of first-party funnel events, such as a paywall view or first practice, using a random identifier rather than your account email. Hosting and payment providers may keep operational records under their own policies.

Support email. If you send feedback or a refund request, your message and account email are included in a draft opened in your own email app. You choose whether to send it. Once sent, our support team uses the message to reply and handle your request.

Advertising and data sales. Paid advertising is deferred. We do not sell your data to data brokers. We use the service providers described above to operate the app.

Contact. Privacy questions or deletion requests: support@itserviceexamprep.com. Deleting an authentication account does not automatically erase browser-local progress or transaction records. Contact support about deletion; billing records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
